Sublime Scandanavian Design: Norway, Finland, Denmark and Sweden!

Scandinavian Design summed up in five words:
Clean, Light, Bright, Natural, and Joyful.
With Landscape beyond compare, it's a no wonder
that their design is almost an Homage to their Natural
Surroundings. The Scandinavians have managed to bottle up
their sunshine, breathe life and warmth into their design with
beautiful woods and ceramics, and, clearly they have fun in the process
of doing so. So why not click on a little "Norwegian Wood" and begin
the scroll down to see just how cool their style is.

The iconic "Little Mermaid" of Copenhagen
 Finland Winter
How gorgeous are these? They are all by Elephant Ceramics
Fjord: An elongated, deep body of water that is connected to the open sea at some point. This clearly is a beautiful Scandinavian example!

A long time favorite of mine - The Papa Bear Chair by Hans Wagner.
Very cool shelter designed specifically for the outdoor fireplace in Winter.
